I have always had an entrepreneurial flair. When I was in school, I used to go 'cash and carry' with my father, and realised how sweets bought in bulk were cheaper than our school tuck shop. I then started to sell sweets to my classmates. When I had my palms read by my Reiki Master, he told me that I will have at least 3 income streams. He was right and a few years later, I had a part-time job working from home as an events manager and 2 side-businesses, one in beauty offering lash extensions, and another holistic business, offering Reiki - which has now become the Reiki Chia brand.
I have learnt a lot when I started my business in 2010, and I have built my brand, designed my own website, social media posting, email campaigns and have also had world-class business coaches and been on thousands of pounds worth of marketing courses and coaching programmes.
